Hewdas Clock
Hewdas Tower is the central feature of the area of Losumn in which it appears. Visible on one of its faces is something that glows purple, and it's your job to figure out how to get it. Before you go to all the trouble of climbing the Hewdas Tower, make sure to visit the Lemark District dungeon. It's always in the same world area as Hewdas Tower, and you'll need an item from it to collect the Hewdas Tower reward.

If you want to make life a little easier, look around the outside ledges to see plenty of Fae Archers and Fae Spearmen perched on all four sides of the tower:
Fighting them on solid ground is less difficult than fighting them on the narrow ledges high above, so go ahead and shoot them to wake them and clear out as many as you can. Note that there are four enemies perched on the highest corners that will not wake up, so you'll have to deal with them later.
When you're ready, you can head inside if you like. The interior stairway has been destroyed, so you can't climb up that way. You can, however, see that there is an elevator with a lever on the ground floor. Of course, it doesn't work right now so you'll have to find another way up. That way begins via a series of ramps and ladders outside to the right of the door near the World Stone:
Walk up the ramp, up the ladder, around the corner of the tower and follow the catwalk to its end. Climb up the ledge to the left, then into the window. Follow the catwalk around to the right, passing a boarded up window and exiting through the next window.
Walk up the ramp to your left, then up the ladder and another ramp to get around the corner. The catwalk will come to an end that gives you a choice between climbing up a ledge in front of you or climbing into the tower through a window.
Climb through the window and follow the catwalk to the right. Jump across to the small platform in front of a window:
Climb out the window and follow the catwalk to the left to find a treasure chest just around the corner. Once you have your loot, return to the window, climb back in, and continue around the interior catwalk to the right and climb out the second window.
Follow the exterior catwalk to the left and up a ramp to another treasure chest. Continue around the corner of the tower by jumping down to keep following the catwalk. Walk past the window, climb up the ledge, turn another corner, and climb up the ladder.
Hop into the next window and be prepared to fight off several Fae, who will fly down through the open ceiling to attack you:
Once they're cleared, look for a nearby treasure chest. Follow the interior catwalk around to a short jump into a small room lit with a lantern. Climb out the window in the room and look right to see a ladder leading up. Climb the ladder and follow the catwalk a short way until you can enter a room with a wooden staircase leading up.
Walk up the stairs, then follow the catwalk to another, short stairway. Walk up that one, then jump across to the platform with a lantern sitting on a barrel. Look to the crate to the left of the lantern to read a short letter, which gives a short bit of history of the tower, from the clockmaker to Hewdas, the great-grandson of the tower's builder.
When you're done reading, follow the catwalk around the elevator shaft and climb up the ladder at the end. The ladder leads to a platform where you'll find another ladder up. Before you climb that next ladder, cross a narrow bridge to find a treasure chest.
Take what you will, then climb that next ladder into a small room. Walk into the next room, where you'll find another letter on a lantern-lit table. Read it if you want, then continue to the next room and climb up the ladder there. At the top of this ladder is your destination: the top of the tower and the clock mechanism!
There's a third letter on the table, so read it. When you're done, interact with the gears and, when prompted for a key, select the Clockwork Pinion:
Next, interact with the large crank next to all the gears to wind the clock:
Once the clock is running, the hands turn enough to release the purple, glowing item that's stuck on one of the hands. It tumbles down and lands on the catwalk. Conveniently, there's a hole in the wall through which you can pick up your reward, the Broken Timepiece:
Now, follow the wall right of the hole where you picked up the Broken Timepiece to find a wall-mounted switch, a treasure chest, and the elevator:
Throw the lever on the wall to power the elevator and pull the lever on the floor to summon the elevator. While you're waiting, make sure to loot the treasure chest, which contains the Timekeeper's Jewel. Loot in hand, ride the elevator back down and continue your adventures on Losomn!
