World Stone (Remnant II)
World Stones serve as resting points and as fast travel destinations spanning all biomes. As in Remnant: From the Ashes, World Stones come in three varieties and serve several purposes. A World Stone is a major hub between worlds and world areas. A World Stone Shard is a small piece of a World Stone that has limited power. The Ward 13 World Stone is a unique, more powerful, variety of World Stone.
Note that in co-op play, all players must interact with a World Stone in order to rest or travel.
World Stone
Connecting important locations across worlds and dimensions is a huge network of World Stones. To use a World Stone, approach it and interact with it to open the World Map screen.
World areas have at least one, and very likely more than one, World Stone. Every dungeon has one World Stone that is always found just inside its entrance.
Rest
Interacting with a World Stone rests all characters, which accomplishes several things:
- Restores Health to full.
- Restores all Relic charges.
- Removes all Statuses and Blights (there are exceptions).
- Fully powers all Mods.
- Cools down all Skills.
- Restocks all ammunition.
- Respawns any dead party members and spawns any players waiting to join.
- Respawns all Common Enemies.
- Opens the World Map screen.
If you wish to do all of the above without traveling, simply interact with the World Stone, then press Escape (PC).

Ward 13 World Stone
The World Stone at Ward 13 is your in-game home base for Remnant II. It does all the things a regular World Stone does, but also allows you to manage the game for your current character.
Change Game Mode
Choose your game mode by clicking "World Settings" at the bottom World Map screen. Here, you can switch between Campaign Mode and Adventure Mode. You can also re-roll your games here.
Join a Co-op Game
Play co-operatively by clicking "Join Game" at the bottom of the World Map screen. In the center of the screen is a ring that allows you to set the difficulty level of the game you wish to join (icons across the top) and the mode you wish to play (icons at the bottom). Once you've selected your preferred difficulty and mode, click "QUICK MATCH" in the center to join a random match.
Alternatively, look around the outside of the circle for public games that you can join. Hover over an area name to see the name of the player who started the game, the games Difficulty Level, Mode, Power Level, and number of players already in the party. To join one of these games, simply click the one you wish to join. If friends are in one of these games, you'll see their names below the world area name.
World Stone Shard
This is a small fragment of a World Stone that offers a limited set of functions. They are most often found in dungeons, though some world areas also feature World Stone Shards. A dungeon or world area can contain multiple World Stone Shards.
Rest
Interacting with a World Stone Shard rests all characters. This does exactly the same things as resting at a World Stone.
Limited Travel
World Stone Shards allow limited travel. Only two destinations are available, "Leave Dungeon" and "Return to Ward 13." If you "Leave Dungeon," all characters relocate to the world area immediately outside the dungeon entrance. Note that this is always the entrance next to the dungeon's World Stone.
