Statuses

Statuses

Statuses are conditions that alter a character's (or an enemy's) statistics. Many statuses hinder the target while others are helpful. Statuses are imposed either by exposure to a dangerous element or a toxic agent.

Exposure to elements like fire immediately place a status on a character. For example, fire imposes the BURNING status. These statuses deal damage and wear off by themselves over time.

Blights are imposed once exposure to a toxic agent reaches a certain threshold. Each blight displays its own status bar at the bottom of the HUD. Once the bar is full, it applies the related status to the character. For example, once the ROOT ROT blight bar fills up, the character receives the ROOT ROT status. These statuses affect character stats and remain until the player takes action to remove them.

BLEEDING

BLEEDING expires after a certain time or can be removed with by using a Bandage Consumable.

BURNING

BURNING expires after a certain time or can be removed by using the Mud Rub Curative.

CORRODED

CORRODED expires after a certain time or can be removed by using the Antidote Curative.

CURSED

CURSED can be removed by using the Purified Salve Curative.

EXPOSED

Introduced with in The Forgotten Kingdom DLC.

OVERLOADED

OVERLOADED expires after a certain time or can be removed using an Ethereal Orb Curative.

ROOT ROT

ROOT ROT can be removed by using the Oilskin Balm Curative.

SUPPRESSED

SUPPRESSED can be removed by using Timeworn Unguent.
