Drone

The Drzyr made extensive use of drones to take care of day-to-day maintenance of the myriad facilities on N'Erud. These hovering automatons are still operational and still continue to execute their programmed tasks. They are often found interfacing with the monitoring stations on the ship's surface. However, they can be found inside facilities as well.

Combat

Energy Slugs

Drones attack with energy slugs that they fire in bursts of two. The projectiles travel slowly, so you can just step out of the way when they fire on you. If they hit you, each slug deals around 21 damage plus 21 damage as Grey Health (Survivor difficulty).

Ambush

Some drones have gone dormant. These have lain on the surface of N'Erud long enough to be almost completely covered by the dust that covers the ship's skin. Be careful as you walk across world areas as these dormant drones will activate and attack when you get close.

Distress Signal

If a drone is in combat long enough or becomes severely damaged, it broadcasts a distress signal that summons more drones to the fight. When you damage a drone, it's always good policy to go ahead and finish the job.
