Taking Blight Damage, such as being hit with a CURSED weapon, causes the accumulation of that type of Blight Damage in the character. The amount of a particular Blight Damage accumulated appears in a Blight Bar at the bottom of the HUD. When the Blight Bar fills, the character becomes subject to the corresponding Blight Status.
A Blight Status affects character stats or imposes some other impediment. For example, the CURSED Blight Status reduces a character's Maximum Health by 10% and stacks up to five times. Thus, a character whose CURSED Blight Bar has filled five times can never heal past 50% until the status is removed.
Applying the appropriate Curative removes a Blight Status and increases Blight Resistance.
