Deadwood
Thorn comes with the Deadwood permanent Weapon Mod.
Disables automatic BLOWBACK, while increasing Thorn's Reload Speed by 25%, and Fire Rate by 15%.
Reactivating the Mod will trigger an EMPOWERED BLOWBACK, which detonates all needles at once for 100% additional damage. Lasts 20 seconds.
Mod Power Requirement: 1,000
Lore
At first glimpse, it looks like a child's plaything—a mock gun made of twigs and branches. In truth, this twisted bramble is a deadly firearm that unleashes slender needles. They pierce their target before triggering a ghastly explosion that returns them to the ground from whence they came.
"It takes the hubris of a fool to believe oneself greater than the forces of nature. The Pan know all too well what can become of those who challenge the might of kin-mother Yaesha. Plague, hunger, stone, branch—she has no shortage of ways to punish those children whom she deems petulant and in want of humbling."
