Earth has been saved from conquest by the Root, but it has not by any means fully recovered. Their numbers are diminished, but Root invaders still roam the world—a world that is still in shambles.

Your only adventure in Earth is the Tutorial, in which you'll travel overland and underground and face off against a number or Root enemies. The purpose is finding Ward 13, which Cass does not believe exists. If only she could see her own, near future...

As in Remnant: From the Ashes, Ward 13 stands as a haven in this dangerous time. Outside of the Tutorial, your time on Earth will be limited to Ward 13 as it is your character's home base.
